Actually it wasn't and he's very lucky to be alive and not experience serious head injuries after an accident of this magnitude.

Dylan was driving on the highway while the truck was trying to merge onto the highway from a side road and hit the Charger causing it to roll over 6 times. Dylan is not the party to blame

That sounds like a load of bullshit. The car was eastbound, the truck has a LONG dent down the drivers side, making me think it was westbound. The collision happened just east of a curve in the road; I'm willing to bet buddy took the corner way too fast, swiped the side of the truck, THEN lost control. The closest intersection to that collision was where the car ENDED UP...if "Dylan" said that's what happened I don't believe it. Look at the pics.

Lower Springbank Road just east of Horizon View...Sat. Nov. 8...it must have happened around lunchtime, 'cause I went for my ride about 1pm or so, and the road had already been blocked off, and there were cops everywhere.
The car ended up about a quarter-mile from the truck that it hit, so there's no way he was doing the speed limit, which is 80km/hr along there.

The first incident that started this thread was worthy of a laugh. Dylan himself couldn't believe the publicity he got and just shrugged it off, hell it was funny and he knew it. There were some good jokes:
"... the slalom was cake, the half-pipe, no problem, but our luck ran out when we tried to hit a rail..."

But Kenny I know Beyond CSI can trace a stolen members car much faster then the CPS in various occasions and I give props to this community for those efforts. Sadly though your CSI skills lack the skills of your fellow Beyond CSI team members.

I didn't want to look at those pictures (Not only do I know Dylan but I've seen way too many accidents, more on that later) but after my quick investigation Dylan was going Eastbound as you said. Truck pulled out of Pinebrook Estates to most likely go West on Lower Springbank. (If the truck was trying to merge eastbound when the driver realized he made a bad move he may have hit the gas to avoid collision and if that happened he's super likely to be alive)

So as Dylan is cruising Eastbound, truck cuts him off, he ends up going under the pickup bed of the truck. Take a look at not only his severely damaged front end that caved slightly and the left QTR of the pickup where the axel (On a very solid ladder frame truck) is mangled and bent inwards and out.

I used to own a highend bodyshop in town and saw/heard(the real bad ones) about thousands of accidents. The reason I probably walked away from the industry is b/c I was able to tell if a car hit a human vs deer and we use to see the craziest stuff no one wanted to deal with in those catastrophic accidents.

Oh hell, nobody does 80 on Lower Springbank. I don't even think the line painter does 80. Our poster boy will probably say he was doing "2 km/h". His Facebook status right now is pretty amusing, too.

A real 'professional driver' wouldn't have been ejected, for starters, unless it was a landmark case in which Chrysler was found to have put a seat belt in the car that accidentally unbuckled itself when the car started to roll. Actually, depending on the facts, a real professional driver probably wouldn't have gotten in the situation to get rolled in the first place.

EDIT: 20incheyes, are you looking for sympathy for what appears to be a reckless driver? You won't find any from me. In my 20 years of driving I've yet to drive my car up on the central median curb hard enough to knock over a stop sign, because I tend to notice large objects like curbs and stop signs when they're in my path. And if a truck was about to pile into me, even if I was in the right, I'd be looking ahead enough to notice the problem and deal with it before it became a BIG problem.

People in this world need to pay more attention to their driving, including the ones who think they're paying total attention enough to be 'professional' when they're really just guilty of highway asshattery. That's all there is to it.

1) Please explain your "quick investigation". If it involves what "Dylan" said, don't bother, I don't believe it.

2) STOP SAYING THE TRUCK WAS MERGING!!! Lower Springbank Road is A ROAD, not a highway...people at cross-streets to it stop at a stop sign, then turn RIGHT or LEFT, they DO NOT MERGE!

3) I don't doubt the left front of the car was mangled, that's what I'm saying...the damage to the truck does not look like it happened at a 90 degree angle....it looks more like a side-swipe from a car going way too fast.

Jay911 has it right, this was an avoidable collision.

The driver 'claimed' he had mechanical issues. Are you joking? He ended up on the guardrail because he was driving like a twat. The odds that you'll have mechanical failure that will put you on the Glenmore guardrail on a < 5 year old car are almost obsolete. Interesting how those odds statistically spike when the driver has a history of driving like an donkey.

Same logic applies to the doucheroo in this thread. When you have documented proof that you're an idiot behind the wheel, how do you expect to get the benefit of the doubt when a flying truck falls out of a cloud and smashes your car to the tits while you're driving perfectly and obeying all the speed laws. Wow, I finally see the pics of the truck. (Didn't catch the links for them before.)

That is NOT the mark of a truck that has been T-boned, even at highway speeds. Trust me, I go to enough crashes to know, and, I have had my own F150 sideswiped before in a similar manner.

In my case, my truck was parked on the shoulder of an icy road while I went to check out a flipped-over Jeep in the ditch. A car coming toward my truck (in other words, head-on) lost control and skidded on the ice, hit just behind the cab and went all the way along the left side of the box until it hit the left rear wheel, bending the rim and popping the tire (and, we find out years later, fracturing one of the leaves in the spring). That was a piddly little Ford Escort wagon doing somewhere around 60kph vs a truck that was stopped. I'm no expert traffic investigator, but what I see in that photo on Facebook of the pickup is a truck that was sideswiped from the center of the extended-cab (where it meets the driver's door) all the way to the rear axle, at highway speed. That too would explain the rolled-over R/T, as it would have been spat out by the force of hitting the truck's axle (and ripping it off).

Once again... you don't do that kind of damage to a truck from "merging" or a "t-bone" style crash. The forces involved require a parallel impact like a head-on-sideswipe.

That's all there is to it.

 to badatusrnames and Xamim last posts, thats why I keep coming back to beyond

Jay911 your right not many ppl take the speed limit seriously on lower springbank, esp. where they dropped it to 60 now :)

If you look closely at the first picture of this thread there is no way his Daytona knocked over that stop sign or else the bumper/headlight would be mangled. This proves when he hit the rail it was at low speed, but once again thats history and it was a funny incident or this thread wouldn't have lasted for 6 pages.

I completely agree with you that people need to pay more attention. IMO the general Canadian public have very limited skills in properly driving a vehicle on our roadways. I've driven plenty of KMs in places like Saudi Arabia and the autobahns (the list could go on) where I feel much safer driving with other alert drivers at 200 km/h then cruising back to Calgary on the trans Canada after a day of snowboarding.

You must be kidding dude, get your head out of your ass. You're suggesting the stop sign just happen to be bent over like that before buddy came along?
The concrete block slowed the car down enough to knock over the sign as much as it did.
I don't know your relationship to the driver, but all you're doing is making yourself look bad and him even worse.

3) I don't doubt the left front of the car was mangled, that's what I'm saying...the damage to the truck does not look like it happened at a 90 degree angle....it looks more like a side-swipe from a car going way too fast.

Jay911 has it right, this was an avoidable collision.

I am not here to make a case for Dylan by any means, I was forwarded very limited info from someone very close to him directly after this collision. I'm not about to ask for details about the crash and I'm sure none of you would if it were related to a close family friend. My investigation took about looking at all the pics for about 2 minutes, even though I had no clue where it happened I pieced it together as best as I could and I'm no newbie when is comes to seeing serious accidents.

As for your second point sorry I wasn't clear, I'm really not a traffic cop, he was cut off as the driver was either taking a left or right. Sorry if that confused a few ppl

Third point, I'm not about to argue with you over the net but interpret it anyway you like.

What this boils down to is I didn't expect many of the comments on the last two pages from fellow beyond members, it seems quite of you have LOTS of growing up to do.......

I'll bet the person(s) who asked 20incheyes to "asses" the pictures as to what happened has no idea the extent of Dylon's poor driving choices. Not just the concrete divider and stop sign, but, it really takes poor choices to be noticed and KNOWN on a car forum as that kind of driver.

Good to see no serious injuries, but sometimes it takes events like that to give someone a reality check. If this is the case, good for him and I hope he lives a long and healthy life... Someone with those poor prior driving choices probably didnt learn anything from the concrete/stopsign, but this is a lot more IN HIS FACE....

Hopefully the same people who enlisted 20incheyes's expertise, will drive home the "what ifs" and "could have's" in his situation and his driving improves. Otherwise he might not have a good enough R/T to swerve and avoid a fatality.

ps. yeah I drive like an idiot too, but not to the point where I get noticed for it.

Ok, you're starting to piss me off...everytime you post on this thread, you say something stupid.
I was cycling on that road after the collision... the truck was nowhere near a cross-road...the fucking car was a QUARTER-MILE from the truck...this indicates an INCREDIBLE RATE OF SPEED. I saw the marks on the road...what you're being told is shit, and you're coming on here saying it's what happened.
As for for Beyonders needing to grow up, we're car enthusiasts, not driving like a fucking douche-nozzle-ists. Your boy has a glaring rep as an arrogant, selfish punk behind the wheel, and we don't respond well to that; he is getting exactly what he deserves from the people here.

his fault or not, his driving habits, skills and constant douche driving escapades were bound to lead him into a crash like this eventually.

glad he isn't hurt too bad, I hope this opens his eyes to the fact he is not immortal.

I work with construction companies, and property management companies, day in and day out. I'd never heard of "Swiatek Construction"

I did i quick google search, and all i found was an ad listed on Kijiji. Also it had the name Stan Swiatek, not Dylon.

Does anyone know if this company actually exists, and if tyhis kid owns it? I'm sure i know the answer to this already tho... Haha!

It says it was Dodge Magnum. Could be a mistake by the reporter, or a different accident. :dunno:

If you're right then:

In another case involving a suspected drunk driver, a car struck a pickup truck on Lower Springbank Road near the Calgary city limit Saturday just after noon.

Both vehicles were traveling east on Lower Springbank Road when a Dodge Magnum attempted to pass other vehicles. When the car could not complete the pass safely, the driver pulled back into the lane, hitting the rear driver side of the truck.

The car driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Foothills Hospital with minor injuries and has been released, while the three occupants in the truck did not sustain injuries.

If he was drunk, I hope they pin him to the wall.

I don't understand, the articles talks about "another case involving a suspected drunk driver" and then goes on to speak about the accident between two vehicles, the dodge car and the truck.

I see, in the second incident, the drunk driver is the guy who struck the RCMP officer as they were investigating Dylon Theodore Swiatek Suraci Priolo's wreck.

from what i read, when the charger accident happened they closed down the road to conduct the investigation, and some drunk idiot decided to ignore the roadblocks around the accident and drove through, then while backing out didnt see the cop car behind him,

and i think jay911 pretty much called it, the damage happened when the two cars were basically parallel to each other

Article says Dodge was trying to pass multiple vehicles, couldn't do it and tried to get back in his own lane and struck the truck.

...yes, and apparently the truck was not "merging" onto the roadway, and was not at fault, like some have suggested.
