it's true, but its not usually as bad as they say unless your buying cheap ones

When I worked for michelin we were pushing out 9-10,000 tires every day, and a couple hundred tons of rubber to send to other plants for manufacturing.. And that was only one plant, so there has to be a hell of a lot of tires out there.
