I don't know Porsche product that well, but this GT3 completely caught my eye. I had to take a pic Yes I spoke to the owner, which was elder. Very nice man and had no problem with me taking pics. Sorry if this is a waste of time. Nice car though.

I still think the GT2 is better, but still a very hot car.

Ya, I totally agree, but the GT3 is almost $100,000 USD cheaper than the GT2.

I would kill for either one/.

I would kill for either one/. but there is no boost. A porsche needs boost IMO. Sure N/A cars are fun, but you cant scare yourself like in a turbo porsche.

I'm not sure that one is a real GT3. Here is a pic of a GT3 that I did some hot laps in (as a passenger unfortunately) on Saturday.

I'm not a Porsche expert, but don't the rear spoilers look a lot different?

You can get a different spoiler tho I believe. Aero Kit.

I'm sure you can, but it isn't a factory option for the GT3. What makes me suspicious is that is the factory aerokit for C2, and a GT3 is a perfect 'badge tune' since it is NA.

In any case, whoever said that the GT3 isn't 'scary' enough has to ride in one with a competent driver (or drive one). To me, it seems at least as fast as the 911 Turbo, and a lot more raw. It felt like a racecar, whereas the turbo feels like a very fast 5 Series BMW (not that it is a bad thing, but they are completely different).

heh, 380horse NA is respectable IMO.

the real GT3 i've seen in edmonton has different wheels and wing than that first black one. Fake!

Real deal (off Porche Can web site):

The yellow one is a picture of the freshened up GT3 design. That's why it appears different.

As for the black one, I didn't think GT3's were exported out of Europe. I know that the new one will be coming to the US (and most likely Canada as well) but I am pretty sure that they were strictly limited to European countries only. I think the black one is a 911 with the aero kit and a GT3 badge - but I could be wrong.

Southcentre sold a white GT3 just a few weeks ago. Saw it during its PDI. talked to the tech that drove it, he liked it a lot! to the point of trying to figure out how to get one himself, the car was going to Vancouver to be stripped into a race car, Can't remember which wing was on the back, but the sides of the GT3 vs the C4 look different, a C4S with an aero kit looks like the one in the pic, did it have the side intakes?

They seem to be a great deal for what you get, Now I just have to wrangle an opportunity to drive one!

Cheers

Nope, there are definitely GT3s in North America.. I have seen them at Porsche dealerships and had a ride in one last weekend :)

Nice! Yeah I wasn't too sure. I know that Canada sometimes gets the shaft on availability.
