i was quite surprised with the fitment, on full steer turns nothing rubs but driving straight the only thing that rubs is one of the fender clips on the front left corner. But either than that everything is good to go.

How would lowering it allow you to run wider and not rub?
Not questioning your statement, but more like for my own knowledge :D

I think the old LOOK is better than the new one.
Unpainted carbon doesn't really do much for me, and I liked the old rims better.

But, that being said, this looks awesome regardless!
Have you ever considered taking the mud guards off?

oh man too sick dude
the RE30's are nice man, good choice.
You can fit 9's on 245's if you're not too low with about -2.0 and maybe a bit more camber.
but looks good man

can you take a higher angle shot so I can see how the wheels look and match with that bright-ass mesh in the hood? :poosie:

Well right now the tire is about 2mm away from the spring perch (bottom) and with the new coilovers the springs are of course smaller so there will be more room for bigger tires and more dumpness!

i don't know i like the dark look white cars for some reason. even on my previous type r i had painted the stock rims painted BMW gunmetal and my racing harts that i had on the type r also were bronze. personal preference i guess.

as for the mud flaps i'm waiting for my OEM CTR kit to come in.

Does the real deal CTR lip kit just slap right onto the stock CSX bumpers?

BTW, the Air Walker/BYS front lip is so tight for the 8th gens.

its different hood, front bumper, fenders, grill, rear bumper and sides. The lip for a front bumper would be additional, the base civic bumper is what we have here, and the CTR one is different

So the CSX bumpers are different then the JDM Civic bumpers?

They're obviously differnent then the USDM Civic, but I thought the CSX was the same as the JDM Civic?

Wow I was with 88 CRX, I was under the impression the CSX had the same front end as the JDM civic.

BTW, nice car! Great wheel choice, love the REs

The CSX bumpers are the same as the JDM civic. They are practically the same car. The only difference is the coupe's dimensions.

maybe what shadowz was saying was that you can't get a mugen lip and slap it on the OEM bumper. It'd have to be on the CTR bumper.

Seems like this JDM converison is probably the easiest converison for Honda. IIRC, JDM ITR converison and Fit converison requires welding on a few body structural part to make it work.

well yeah japan has 2 models that i know of for sure. they have a base civic which is exactly the same as the csx, so they have a lip kit for my. and then they have the civic type r which has totally different bumpers and other shiet of course.

no they don't, i wouldn't put them back on anyways. i hate stock fog lights, especially in our city they just break from rock chips. one of them is already broken. :banghead:
