I was at Bucks Auto parts today(still cant find a Damn Sunroof for my car:madred: ), and there was an older Supra in the parking lot,'85 maybe :dunno: , it was in pretty good shape, and i Noticed it had a differnet looking body kit on it, which from far away looked alright(except it was a different Shade of Silver from the body), I got up close and the car had the complete Ground effects kit (spoiler too) off of an early 90's Cavalier Z24, and it actually looked like it fit alright, I dont know what would make the guy do this, but hey, whatever works for ya! anybody seen this car? Its quite the site.

That's odd. Was it white kinda. Maybe it was that older cavalier with a body kit that ran at race city a few weeks ago. :dunno:

I know that car you are talking about. White, lots of stickers. FX Designs body kit... I guess it could kinda look like an older supra.... :dunno:

Yeah I could see how it could be confused for something else. I don't think I've seen any other 2 gen cavaliers with kits in town. When I saw it first at Race city I couldnt tell what it was untill I got close up to it.

I know someone with a new Cavalier with a body kit on it. Not sure if the new one is 2nd or 3rd gen though. The body kit has red mesh in it and a nice spoiler with red on it. He is the best driver I've ever met, smoothest shifting, he can take cars that a cavalier shouldn't be able to.

What are you talking about? A cavalier can take anything!

I think the new cavaliers are 4th gen.
95-99 are 3rd and 88-94 are 2nd. Davan should be able to correct me if I am wrong.

subtract one. 95-02 are 3rd gen. Not sure when 2nd gen started though... 88 I think....

There's not that many generations, just cause GM never changes anything!

The car was parked and i was looking at it for a good 5 minutes trying to figure out why it looked so messed up:confused: This car was DEFINATLY a Supra, the old old style that are actually called "Celica Supra" Might be a Celica then, oops:p , that's what they are badged as anyway. My Neighbour use to have an '83 Supra that looked just like the car i seen, without the Z24 Body kit of course.:nut:
I found some pics on Canadatrader, and it was the ground effects kit off of the 89-90 Cavalier Z24.
