I too would rather drive this than a new GTR. Sure the new GTR is fast around the Nurburgring, but how often do any of us drive a lap around it anyways?

I don't think that particular car is legal in the US?

Only a few R34 GTR's were grandfather'd in when motorex went tits up. From my understanding, unless it says the car has been federalized then it is not in 'legally' ?

I did, but how is it a kit car when it's an actual production car with the factory motor in it?

I just read that thread through - lots of people there have said that it is NOT a real kit car because it's an actual production vehicle regardless of Kaizo tagged another VIN on it and it being imported without a drivetrain.

Normally im not a fan of RHD, but RHD or not, the r34 GTR is one of the sexiest japanese cars ever IMO, and I would absolutely love to drive one. I know the new GTR is faster and everything, but styling wise, it still does not beat the old r34.

IMO the R34 is very nice but a little overrated. It's not the supercar that fanboys have made it out to be.

I agree. It's definitely does not have the "super car status" that the new GTR has. I still prefer the styling of the r34 over the new GTR though and would gladly take it over the new one.

it's wierd though. I am definitely not a fan of RHD cars, but some of my favorite cars only come in RHD. i.e., one of my all time favorite cars, the 22b STI. Also a big fan of the r34 GTR

As to everyone else in here, the reason it's priced so high is because of the rarity of the car in the US. They will find a buyer for it at this price if not more.
