Help... passenger seat cushion removal

Ok I am crossing my fingers that someone is on the forum right now. I need help really bad. I need to know how to take out the passenger seat cushion. I've the seat out in my basement but I can't figure out how to pull off the reclining lever.

I am doing this because some idiot spilled 1+ L of margarita on the seat, and much of it is inside the cushion.. and it stinks!!! And I need to do this tonight b/c I am heading to Edmonton in the morning. Hopefully i'll have it figured out by the time someone comes on here.

what u do is u take an exacto knife.. cut a hole through the leather.. and WHOALA....out comes the seat cushion...
