Hey,

Dunno if you might find this usefull but best buy has a nice gps on sale, Magellan Maestro 4210 for 169.99. I just got myself one and am pretty happy with it, it retailed for $400 before.

Costco.ca has a Garmin Nuvi 350 on sale for $199.99. That is a way better deal.

I have a Asus R600 I'll sell for $225. I paid $350 for it a few weeks back. It's a really nice unit, but I want to buy a new stereo with built in navigation, so I'm selling it. I have the box and everything it came with. Condition is a 9.9 out of 10. Just because the box has no wrapper anymore. ;)

Dale.

I'd go with a TomTom or Mio- can't beat the accuracy of Tele Atlas maps

+1 for the Garmin Nuvi series. I have one and it's excellent.

+2 for Garmin and especially the Nuvi 350. In the mountains it is much more stable than my dad's TomTom, and since their new map release, Garmin is more up to date.

These guys are way cheaper then any of the big box places.

And they actually sell units that aren't so old they are obsolete.

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/ is pretty good as far as online stores go. It's the cheapest I found.
I did mine through ebay, and I'm pretty happy with the price I paid, and the unit itself.

The device is only as good as the maps it uses
