JOB DESCRIPTION:
Distribute fresh products within Calgary and surrounding area (heavy lifting required), expand distribution territory through new account acquisition, and perform general account management responsibilities.
Administrative duties include inventory management, mileage log, and expense tracking. Product allocation and direct sales to existing clients will be key to the candidate’s growth within the role.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Distribution of fresh cut flowers including customs clearance of shipments.
· Relationship-building with existing clients and territory growth, development, and management.
· Inventory control and general administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
· Class 5 license with clean abstract.
· Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
· Candidate must have use of computer, printer and internet.
· Self motivation; strong relationship-building, networking, and communication skills with the ability to work efficiently unsupervised.
COMPENSATION:
· $20/hr starting wage + bonuses & commissions; fuel allowance.
· Quarterly bonuses and wage increases if performance benchmarks achieved.
