ok stemming from the shitty internet thread, does anyone know how to remedy this issue. i figured out its my phone that messes up my wireless as i was watching i survived a japanese game show.

Tried changing your wifi router's channel? That might take care of interference.

Was just being a smartass :D if you try a low, mid and hi channel on the router and the phone still cuts it off, you might be outta luck and need to get a new 5GHz or 2.4GHz or even 900MHz phone or another router... How close are they to each other? It's too bad all that shit runs on the same freq...

they are on opposite sides of the house haha..
ill try running my router at a different channel and see if that helps.. thanks!

the fact my dads gf is always on the phone bugs me, but the fact it interrupts my pr0n downloads makes me even madder.

first off try changing your router to channel 11.

if that doesnt work and your using a router that starts with the name belkin, d-link, netgear, or trendmicro. throw it out the window and go buy a linksys, and if that still doesnt work, do what grogador said and buy yourself a 5.8ghz or 900mhz phone. (not another 2.4ghz cuz thats the same frequency your wifi waves travel on which is what causes the problem in the first place)
