Got a set of Koni FSDs but don't have the time/tools to install them myself :( Where would you take your car, and what's a reasonable time for a shop to swap out 4 struts on a E46 and do an alignment?

Got mine installed at Certigard. Cost was $492.00 + GST (That's labour only, I provided the parts obviously)

I saw an E46 getting some suspension work done at Speedtech last year. You might want to try getting a quote from them while you're getting quotes...

All my suspension on all cars has been done by Tirecraft on McLeod. They haven't changed their prices for a basic susp install and alignment for like 5+ yrs

Yeah man. One stop shop for everything. Definitely give them a call 255-5592. Ask for Steve or Mike (on vacation till next Monday)

If you leave the car in the morning, usually read by afternoon.

Thanks guys, just gave Steve a call... he said $350-450 for installation and alignment. I think Apline Autowerks quoted 4-5 hours, which would've been like $400-500 I think.

What are your guys' thoughts on Alpine?

I just did the suspension on may E46, isn't that tough. Work that took the longest was ripping the trunk apart to get the bolts for the shocks.

But yeah, if you need professional work, Tirecraft yo!!!!

I have always been happy with Kal-tire and I have gone there enough times to notice an issue if they had one. The one in the SE on 52st and 72 ave is the one I go to.

I've had really good luck over the years with Alpine. And they are very knowledgable on the Euro cars. Issues that weren't resolved at the dealers (Both) were diagnosed and repaired in one visit to Alpine.

Umm...OK

What are they then?

They've done multiple members suspension and exhaust systems and installed rage2's 750hp turbo kit. I think they know how to work on BMW's. If you want to go to the dealership and get a real mechanic to work on your car installing after market parts, be my guest!!

Never thought of going to Tirecraft but now I will definitely give them a shout if I decide I'm too lazy to install my clutch.
