INNNNNNteresting.... I wonder where the catch is?

Explore your options.
Lucid offers two key purchase options to suit your personalized grand plan for the use of your investment. Choose from either a No Obligation Purchase or a Guaranteed long term Rental.
1. No Obligation Purchase

Lucid's No Obligation Purchase is simple: just buy the property and you’re done! Should you decide to rent the property out you will not be obligated to go through Lucid and you will not encounter any resale restrictions on any of your properties. This means that you can do exactly what you want to do with your investment. You can keep it, resell it, or renovate and flip it. It's truly up to you.
2. Guaranteed Long term Rental

Under Lucid's Guaranteed Long Term Rental program, you reap the benefit of having Lucid's experienced team managing the property for you. When you choose this option, Lucid becomes your tenant in the property for a fixed monthly rate, for TWO years! Because Lucid is your tenant, you receive your monthly rent, regardless if the property is vacant or not! You receive 24 post dated checks at possession of suite, and sit back cashing your check while Lucid handles the entire rental process for you!

Location.

Known for hot, beautiful weather year-round, Florida is the ideal location for any investment property. You won't have trouble finding someone who wants to rent, and they'll never want to leave! Located in sunny Central Florida, Sunrise Palms is adjacent to both Clearwater and Tampa, so it truly is in the middle of everything.

Your property comes with access to a Club House complete with a games room and media room, a party area with wet bar, and a fitness center. Also included are two swimming pools, a laundromat, and a playground for kids.

No not really other than what they provide.

So many of these companies spending huge $ on promotion makes me wonder where all the money is going?

Dirt cheap properties are great, but the demand for these properties in the future is what will make them valuable or an unwated piece of property. If there is no market and you need to get out, what do you do?

Would like to see Florida moving upwards/past bottoming before diving in.

Those condo fees are super cheap.
Thats one of the first things i would look at when something seems so appealing.
What happens in 10 years if there is a special assesment done and the budget does not cover all of it??

Same thing thats happened to a couple of condos here.... the owners split it:banghead: :banghead:

Hire someone to reveiw the condo docs and all that before pursuing....

Lucid holds a lot of corporate rental properties and it is likely what they do with properties in Florida that you chose to hold as a long term rental. The rental rates in the table posted above are about a third of what the corporate rental rate likely is.

Lucid also sponsored a chuck wagon at the stampede this year and put on a decent barn party!

Those 3 pics (pool "gym" and laundromat) look like real shitholes. The Lucid Group of Companies sounds too Vanilla Sky.

Scary.....investing site unseen is not my favorite pass-time. Especially if you know nothing about florida, like most westerners. If I were putting my hard earned bucks into something like that, I'd be on a plane to the actual site and do my own due dilligence.

There are much better ways to invest your cash locally, in faaaaaact......

I have a friend in florida who was a construction manager for cardel and he says the market has cratered in Florida. So you can buy estate homes dirt cheap right now (350K homes for less than 150K). That being said If you are looking at investing in something like real estate hop a flight down and check it out. West jet flies to both tampa and orlando fairly cheap too.
