Nice looking kit. I assume 6 - 8 psi max boost? How much hp/tq gains can you expect?

Mr_ET
07-18-2008, 07:58 AM
I'm gonna guess this will put down about 220whp on a mustang dyno or something like that. tq should be around 165-170.

Will this get dynoed right after the install?

the kit does not delete the stock cat so with the stock cat and exhaust i was guessing around 240-250whp on a dynojet, and with a new T1R test pipe and cat-back i'm hoping for 275-285whp @ 6-8psi.

that is on the R18 equiped car the SI has a K20z3 and does not have the header built into the block issue.

I would be extremely surprised if this kit gave that much wheel HP without some other tweaks and more boost than stock.

so my weekend project turned into a week project, but all in all everything is all finally done and done. first initial start up was great no problems with the emanage or anything acting up. No oil, coolant or vacum leaks. Final things that have to been is the OEM Lip Kit which i picked up on friday. But here are the pics of the final install. I'll take it for a rip tonight and let you guys know how it goes.

don't need them it's not a high boost application and plus all the pipes have rolled ends or whatever you call them.

Here are some final pics of the car. Just have to finish the rest of the OEM kit. got the front lip on so far just have the side skirts and rear lip. Otherwise car runs great, anything below half throttle feels like stock anything over half throttle WOW pulls really good. Runs 7psi till about 6000rpm and then drops to about 6-6.5psi. oh and full boost at 3000rpm.

Just a note princess auto has proper t-bolt clamps for cheap, 3 or 4$ each I think.

Revhard
07-29-2008, 10:00 AM
While I much prefer t-bolts myself, I have seen a few cars that have worked just fine with worm clamps like these up at 20lbs of boost with a bead-rolled tube. The bead-rolling is the key, that's why I bought one for all of my work.
Car looks good, should be a blast around town.
You should have taken it to the dyno the rsx club uses for reference purposes. Tecmotion.

07-29-2008, 06:06 PM
car runs sooooooooooooooo good with the emanage pretuned
now all i have to do is wait for the emanage software and cable so that we give it a better tune

So everything done and done. Here is a final list of everything installed.

Greddy Turbo Kit
Greddy Emanage Ultimate
HKS Blow Off Valve
T1R Test Pipe
Spoon Sports Exhaust

Car now runs 7-8psi of boost with the spoon exhaust instead of 6-7 with the stock exhaust.
