just woke up to the neighbours banging on the door telling they heard someone just hook up to our boat 0on the driveway. tried to chase them but didn't get going quick enough. its on a black ez loader, single axle. prop is pretty mangled from last trip out and it has a volvo penta engine. still has blue cover on.has the XL packqge with blue vinyl on the side too. i will get the reg/plate numbers asap. if anyone sees it please call police or 780 707 9344. thanks

ya. this guy had balls. supposedly he was by himself, driving a ranger sized red truck. also was around 230-3am

a distinguishing feature is a minn kota trolling motor mounted on the rear main motor. im pretty sure we are the only mx175 owner with this motor.

Did you have a lock on the hitch? I guess that is easy to cut with a bolt cutter, but I would guess it would deter some people.

we normally have a heavy duty hitch lock on it, but my dad took it out last weekend and forgot to put it on when he put the boat back on the driveway. big mistake.. good thing we are insured so we are working that out now. they stole probably the worst boat in the neighborhood too. last weekend we had some rough water and the prop got mangled, rudder is bent, snap in carpet is in my garage, all the cupholders are out, etc. we were in the middle of cleaning it.
