I was looking into buying an Acura Integra more precisely a 2000 Acura Integra GSR.

I was wondering if anybody could inform me how much insurance will cost for this car a month. I'm 19 years, old and have been driving for 3 years, as a part time driver. I also took drivers ED, if that helps.

I looked online but a lot of insurance companies want alot of personal information, which i don't like to give out.

Any information will help but, I would just like a estimate, to see if i could even afford this car.

i would call around, the online ones tend to be on the pretty high end, for example quoting me around $4500/yr opposed to what i ended up with at around $3000/yr

Your personal information is what determines your insurance rate. Get a real quote, we can't help you.

I'm 19 with a 2000 GSR. Full coverage would have been 4400 a year and just PLPD is 1600 a year. I'm with TD and also took drivers ed.

Thanks for all the info. I guess I will call around and see what they quote me. I just hope it's under 5000 a year.

I can save you a bunch of hassle if you reply to the PM.

Dang, I could not imagine paying anywhere close to $5K a year for insurance, hardly seems worth it to drive!

Another insurance question, when a car is hit and run or vandalized, do these types of claims go under the same category as "at-fault" claims? There's something like a comprehensive claim for stuff that's not really your fault.

Those fall as not-at-fault. They don't directly affect your pricing but if you have a bunch of them in a short time (say four in two years), they may force a higher deductible on you. It's pretty rare though.
