MS3 will now cost $2K less.

It's nice to see them being competitive, but that's still not enough to make me want to buy a Mazda.

Every little bit helps.

I am really impressed the prices of the Mazda 6 are dropping considering how much better the new model looks. It should be a really competitive car for them. I am actually looking forward to taking one for a drive.

I've never been one for mazda's either, but having one as a rental while my Audi is in the shop has changed my mind. For a $17g (now $15g, i guess), I'm impressed with the Mazda 3.

The interior doesn't feel nearly as cheap as my Mustang's did, I'm getting 33 U.S. mpg, (75% highway, 25% city), and the pick-up from 0 to around 70 km/h is decent (it just sucks after that though).

If I were to really buy a mazda though, I'd probably look more at the 6's, however.

Definitely; not to mention that the resale values are crap.

I'm actually thinking of getting a B-Series truck for use as the DD.

This is good news as even though I'm not interested in a Mazda it will put pressure on their competitors to price their cars closer to US pricing and stop using Canadians as a cash grab.
