I'm not looking for an exact number, but just a range. I was pressure washing bugs off my bumper today and a chunk of paint about the size of a looney flaked off, I was so pissed! It's oem stock paint too!

The car is an 05 satin silver civic if the color matters for the price. The bumper itself is in good condition, just rock chips from the winters its been through.

What is the paint coverage for warranty? Sometimes it says only covered if there's a hole rusted thru or something shitty though.

I've paid $150 - $1200 to refinish/repaint a front bumper on my car before. Depends on how good a job you want done on it.

Really? that cheap? Where did you get it done for under 500? I don't need a show car paint job, just oem looking. Can you pm me the place if you don't want to post it?

Get some 800 grit sand paper, wet sand the entire bumper yourself, take it to an autobody shop with the VIN # and colour code.

It will cut the price down (most likely below 500) and they are more willing to do it since the shittiest part about refinishing a bumper is sanding it.

Don't wetsand the bumper. Don't do anything. I being a bodyman absolutely hate fixing other peoples work and mistakes. I charge $250 to refinish a bumper. However, the paint may match, but for that $250 you will not get blending into the hood or fenders (look up paint blending for explanation) $250 is my price for a strip spray and clear.

I had a 2000 Honda Civic Si and I had its rear bumper re-painted by K&J Autobody for $200. I took the rear bumper off and just left it with them for a few days. Maybe give them a call and see what they can do for you.
