My brother's birthday is coming up next week and I wanna get him something for his car. Any suggestions in under $500.
He's got both the 07 and the 08 Subaru STI. Thanks

get him a valantine1 radar detector, unless he already has 1 or two.
It seems like he likes quick cars so it may come in handy.

Accessport is a bit more than your price range but it makes a big difference.
Front and rear sways could be had for under 500 as well.

Performance driving school should come in at about $500.
He can apply that to both cars and every single car he owns from then on.
Allen Berg Racing School has a street car on track school on July 31 for $200 plus GST. Runs from 11 - 4 and includes exercises on track plus supervised lapping.
Track Techniques has a 2 day course in the $330 range, and a 3 day course for $550. Both are well worth it, and is the only palce you can hit over 200 km/h in the STi legally.

this is the best idea. if your bro wants to see what he can do in his cars.

LED windshield squirters, spinner hubcaps and Subaru Racing seatbelt covers. Nothing says happy birthday like a bag of rice.
On a serious note, the lessons are a primo idea. And what does your bro do to have two sti's? If you don't mind me asking.

^^ He got the 07 last year and decided to keep it as a daily driver (works in construction and doesn't want to get the 08 dirty). The driving school idea is awesome but he's already taken a few Driver Training @ Mont Tremblant in both winter and summer.

Anyone with the Accessport? How much of a difference does it make? Horsepower and torque go up by how much? Doesn't really say on the site...

On my 02 WRX the advertised gains are about 30 HP and TQ. You can easily feel the difference in both power delivery and smoothness. A custom tune is always better but the Accessport can also be used to show live engine data and you can switch maps on the fly.
