Does anyone on here who unlocks phones know of any service provider I could unlock a phone to which would be able to work in India? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Isn't there a place on 17th Ave that deals with this stuff? They unlock phones and sell unlocked phones. Maybe try asking there. I don't know the name of the place of where it is exactly so sorry.. can't help you out there. Maybe someone else on here knows.

You don't get a phone unlocked to a provider. You just get a phone unlocked and that's it. And if it's a tri-band phone which is unlocked it will work anywhere in the world, including India no matter which GSM provider you go with.
