Finally got my wastegate & boost leak situation sorted out and got back on the dyno friday.
The car was much different than the last run and made similar power at 7-8psi lower than last time on pump...which tells you something.
At 15psi, the S372 made 488whp & 355ftlbs on 91 octane.
At 32psi, on C16 i managed to made 779whp & 459ftlbs. This was near the limit of my current fuel setup. Datalogs show duty cycle on the 1600cc/min RC's to be around 85-90%. They are fed by an in-tank 255lph pump + an inline Bosch 044.
No runs were made the dyno at 36-40psi due to fuel shortage possibilities. (which became apparent later at the track :().

Video to come.

Sick So you have tracked it? What are you running 1/4 mile? Is this still your same black prelude?

Black Prelude. Went to track on Friday and datalog shows that I hit 36psi instead of 32psi...therefore maxed out the 1600cc/min injectors and ran lean. 850+whp needs more than 1600's...usually it required 2 banks of 4 injectors. Unfortunate that it happened this way, but next time I will have all the fuel on board i could ever need ;)

Have you figured out what the damage is yet?

ON A PRELUDE?!?!?!?!?

Sucks to hear about the fuel situation though, hopefully damage wasn't too bad.

Crazy car, crazy owner :D

Trying to handle 800WHP in a FF is hardcore. Congrats on the numbers Brad, truly amazing.

Double that fuel up and you will be good to go.

have you thought about changing your manifold for better wastegate placement?

It wouldn't be a fight at all. I'd get served left, right, and center.

XES has a car setup for drag racing with 800whp.

I have a daily driver that puts out 580whp on pump + meth, and if launched hard, will instantly destroy an axel (already broke 1 off the track). Oh ya, street tires too.

2 completely different animals.

How much of that 780 hp gets to the ground?

He hit ~125mph 3/4 of the way down the track before he broke. Lots is getting to the ground.

Do you have a cage in the car? Did you run differnet levels of boost per gear on the track?

Yeap it could have traped a high13xmph very nice

Don't get me wrong, I'll run Brad for fun, but people are thinking it's gonna be close. It's not even gonna be a contest lol.

Maybe we'll do it pinks style... "Brad... I need 10 cars, I have no V-TAK!"

1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear ran really strong with spinning 26" slicks too  he almost chased down that 10sec mustang until end of third gear where it went lean and then he switched into 4th gear and pretty much coasted the rest of the way down the track. I think it was a 12.3@125mph and that was coasting around the 1000' mark. oh and a VERY VERY conservative launch!

If you need me to fix it secretly so you don't get in trouble let me know.

wow, do you know of anyone pushing more power in a prelude?
i beleive the fastest prelude in the world right now only has about 675 whp
you should post this on preludepower.com, they'd shit a brick seeing those numbers

He is on honda-tech. Lots of BIG power cars on there, not many running a F20 block though. Brad is defn up there for highest power street driven honda's though. Remember, he daily drives this car, it's his grocery getter :) This car is "interesting" on the street.

Unfortunately my datalog shows that I made 36-37psi instead of the 32psi that the car was dynoed on. The bad news is I unfortunately found the limit of my fuel setup at a suboptimal time. Duty cycled showed 100% in 2nd and 3rd gear from 8800rpm up...and A/F went really lean even though the end columns had plenty of fuel. All this led to some motor damage which is yet to be explored (but plug 3 doesnt look good ). Looks like i might need a few new pistons...but no head or turbo damage.

I made it through 3 gears before i let off and coasted across the the 1000' and 1320', ending up with 123mph run anyways with very limited traction in 1 and 2 + a severe bog in 1st. (1st gear to 75kph 0-3.5sec, 2nd to 120 only took 1sec then 2sec until i hit third due to missed shift, 3rd gear 117kph to 168-170kph 2sec with wheelspin at top for additional second then 1-2seconds of 4th before i realized it was broken.) There is alot of room for improvement and traction + alot of power available + boost per gear tuning.

I am putting together a video right now and hope to have it up tomorrow night.

Here are some pics:

Sweet Jesus. That much power through a front wheel drive. You could drive sideways with all that torque-steer assuming your arms didn't get ripped out! :D

Impressive numbers man!

I find it kinda funny that a guy who drives a 2.7L Boxster is lipping off to me about what torque feels like. There are Hondas with more torque than you.

*shakes head* Some people's kids. Again, XES, very impressive results. Would love to see this thing in person at the track.
