What's the best way to deal with squeaky leather seats? I've noticed squeaking from the seat every time I push the clutch in. Is it just cause the leather is getting older, or is there something I can do about this?

are you sure it's not the clutch pedal squeaking?

Sounds like the clutch pedal not the seats. IMO.

I'd like to know as well. Anytime anyone is in my passenger seat, the passenger buckle rubs the leather and squeeks.

I use this stuff in my window sills and just a shot in little cracks in your dash or wherever a rattle or squeek starts. Works like a charm and is non-abrasive and safe to use on just about anything.

EDIT: Also, if you've ever wondered how to get back your "new car scent" this is it. My 3 year old car is dead silent and still has new car smell :)

are you sure they are not tooting :dunno:

maybe use a leather cleaner on them if you think it is actually the leather, otherwise, grease as said above on the moving parts.

No, I blame that on invisible ducks. Guess I'll try some silicon spray, I just didn't want anything to wreck the leather... though I suppose it is under the buckle where you don't look too often.

Try cleaning it first, that might fix the squeek. I doubt the silicon spray would hurt the leather though.
