Has the door been replaced? The door moldings look larger (different model year maybe?) or maybe it's just me.

Does it appear to be the origonal paint?

I'd say your right. The 88-89 style had the larger moldings, which the doors appear to have, yet the 1/4's have the smaller size moldings found on 90-91 models.
