Telus. WTF?

I am honestly sick of their internet and TV. The internet keeps cutting out which is utter bullshit and really annoying when you're trying to do something. And then the TV just doesn't work at all for like 20 minutes and then it works fine.

I don't pay the bills, so I really shouldn't be complaining, but Shaw is the same price, if not cheaper and 10x better.

I deliver alot of Telus stuff through work. I also see alot of Telus stuff going back to Telus, like their modems and their TV boxes. It's just an indication to me that people are drawn in by the lower prices, but are turned off by the poor quality. I'll never go back to Telus for anything.

I've had telus internet for years... hardly any problems.
It could be your router or internet box (forgot the name of it haha).
Everytime the internet stopped working, I just unplugged both the router and the internet box then plugged back in and it works like a charm.

As for the tv.. I'm with shaw

No, but I had those exact problems with Shaw, that's why I switched to Telus, lol.

Works fine for me. (though, I don't have tv)

my buddies got the telus internet/tv bundle, it blows ass, and they too hate it themselves. I believe they're switching to shaw soon

There have been threads about this before, but Telus employees won't even stick with Telus tv, and they get a 40% discount.

I switched to Telus from Shaw a few years ago because Shaw internet was never stable, always got cut for no reason. Telus is always stable but it is SLOW so now Im thinking about either Shaw or Rogers again.

Is Shaw internet better, more stable now? What about Rogers?

If your Shaw connection isn't stable, get a service guy to come in and assess your wiring.

He replaced a whole bunch of connectors and splitters inside and outside of ourhouse that were causing poor signal strength. We haven't had any problems now.

He did it for no charge and was very helpful.
