There is an equivalent.. the 88-91 4WD civic wagon is nearly identical, and 86-89 integra is similiar with the exception of one of the "feet" that has to be cut off to fit.

i have the wagovan intermediate shaft with me right now... it fits fine but its too long...the bolts for the block doesnt match up plus the way that the block and the shaft meet is at an angle = not flush to the block

It's just ZC.. why didn't your ZC come with the intermediate shaft? The 86-89 integra half shaft might be a better fit, the D16A1 is the USDM version of the JDM "Browntop" ZC.

Si tranny is a better choice for the DOHC ZC engine. It has better gearing than the ZC tranny.

Here are the gear ratio's for the ZC and Si trannies. Take it however you like and decide wether top speed or faster pick up is more important to you.
ZC: Si:
1st: 3.250........ 3.250
2nd: 1.944........ 1.894
3rd: 1.346........ 1.259
4th: 1.033........ .937
5th: .878........ .771
final 3.888........ 4.250
My ZC civic with an Si tranny would do 50 in first, 95 in second, 145 in third, 195-200 in fourth and I never got around to running out fifth gear. Just about any on ramp was long enough to get to the top of fourth gear. I personally would stay with an Si tranny because you don't have to go through the hassle of using intermediate shafts and all that junk. As an alternative to using Zc intermediate shafts you can use 90-93 integra inner shafts and two right hand side 88-91 civic axles.
