It's a HJC dirt biking helmet

Sticker says snell M95
DOT
97-08

Does this make it still good for this year at racecity?

Looks like it.


"All racers must have an approved helmet SNELL 90 or better (IHRA Rulebook). Minimum clothing requirements are long pants, t-shirt with sleeves, and runners. Open-toed shoes, tank tops, shorts and nylon pants are prohibited."

I didn't see anything about DOT rating, I assume mine is good until the end of 2008, but I don't know

I think they only look for snell M90 so it should be good. My open face snell M2000 has always passed tech no problem and it has the same type of DOT rating on the back too.

Actually race city changed their secret street helmet rules a bit, you dont need a helmet unless your car is faster then 14 seconds

You might get by with it, but I wouldnt wear that thing.

I CERTAINLY wouldnt trust my life to it. It's beat to hell. Drop $130 and go to blackfoot to get a new one. Hell, drop me a PM and I'll hook you up with one of my old ones in better shape.
