And another thing, what the fuck is their obsession with going 30-40 over the speed limit......i do 130 on qe2 and they still ride my ass, i move over, they do as i estimate, about 150 k/hr....i dont get it, trucks speed by me WAY more than cars.

I was driving from 1 job to another and some young kid drives up behind me with his gf in the passenger.. tailgating me, so with my fully loaded 7100lb truck i accel and he slowly comes up... turn the corner and I speed up to about 80, slow down and the guy speeds by me on the right (right turn only, with merge after the lights)

the guy ends up merging into an f350, forcing him to slam on his brakes - it wasnt like a oh you cut me off, it was a oh shit you're merging into my front seat - better slow down.

anyways, the f30 then tailgates him, then the idiot slams on his brakes almost causing an accident...

he does this 2 more times until they turn a corner (im following at this point) the kid jumps out of the truck and starts walking all cool like..

the guy gets out of the f350.. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! DO YOU KNOW IM AN OFF DUTY EPS OFFICER!!!

he goes to his truck and shows the kid the badge... I havn't laughed that hard in awhile... fucking kid.

nothing like speeding up past someone going 100 in a 50, cutting him off, slamming on his brakes multiple times, speeding around a corner then stopping, getting out of the truck in the middle of the road only to find out you're getting charged for every one of those :) haahah

The other day we went to go meet our buddies at Melrose and we parked in front with a Vantage, the guys sitting next to my friends were calling us douches for just finding a parking spot in front of Melrose and parking there. My friends overheard him say he would rather drive his escort then pull up in a Aston Martin Vantage and look like a douche. What the fuck was I suppose to do, I was just parking my car. That just showed me that people are jealous as fuck. Not everyone, but some definately are. A redneck is only tailgating you cause he's jealous of you, seriously dude, he would be happy to hear that your taking it personally, so don't, your obviously better than him.

I think the lettering was white...everything else was correct but the truck was at least an 05-06, maybe newer...the douchiness just caused me to not care about the year of their shit-mobile.

Also most of these guys have these trucks for work or something related so I highly doubt they all buy them to feel big..

actually... most people with lifted trucks dont need them...

I have a decked out f150 for work.. 2 toolboxes, mud tires, brake controller, 4 way hitch, etc...

I havn't lifted it for exactly 2 reasons... it'd be harder to get in an dout of the box to grab tools / I can't reach over the side if I lift it... and I can only access west ed through 1 location if I lift it (1 entrance out of the 20 or so)

most guys who lift their trucks dont actually use them for work.... the only time a lifted truck is actually usefull for work is riggers who drive on lease roads all the time.

welders, people in construction.. they akll dont need it. towing heavy trailers with a lifted truck is dumb aswell imo.

if I didn't work in construction I would've lifted my truck to make it look cool - but since I actually use it for work, I need functionality lol.

I just drive extra slow when being tailgated. Don't slam on the brakes, just decelerate. I would have been going ~15kmph all the way down 4th. Try that next time, it's fun and will bug the shit out of those copenhagen chewing, truck driving, inbreds.

fuck i hate these people. they jump in there truck and they are no longer hillbillys and all of a sudden gods of the street. fuckhead sprayed by car with rocks becuase i passed him in winter in a rwd car and he thought he needed to show me who was king of the road. then he slammed on his brakes and nearly ran me off the road right after. probably had his pilsner in the cupholder. he really showed me how a 4 wheel drive can take off faster in the winter. sure thought me a lesson. knowing these people he probably thought it could stop fast to and hit a tree by now. at least I hope he did and not another driver.

I drove a buddies lifted truck a few times and I have to admit that it was pretty fun to drive.

I think it'd be pretty hard to tailgate though. With the damn things being so high you cant really see anything closer than 10 feet in front of you.

Most of the time, im getting tailgated by assholes in trucks and theres like 5 cars in front of me slowing me down, so its not even my fault in that case, or sometimes i get tailgated if all im doing is maintaining a 2-4 second lead time between me and the car in front of me. or, heres the worst one, construction zone, 80 fucking km/hr, theres no such thing as a fucking fast lane in this case, but hey, still getting my ass ridden in the left lane, doing 80, usually rednecks in their big trucks... anyways, whatever :goflames:

No see what you said earlier is different than this scenario you paint above.

If you area single car or the lead car in the fast lane and a faster car comes up, you move over when it's safe to let them pass then re-take the lane. If there are cars in front of you, that's called traffic and you do as you wish....
