I have a package waiting for me at the UPS warehouse in sweetgrass montana.
My gf wanted to make the drive down with me but she doesnt have a passport. Last i heard you needed a passport to cross the border by land, correct?
Is there anyway i could take my gf with me and just leave her at the border(on Canadian side) and then once i come back i just pick her up while im paying for the taxes?!
Any help would be appreciated.

If she has a Canadian birth certificate she can still cross as far as I know. My buddy and I went down to Montana 3 weeks ago and I had my passport and he brought his birth certificate as well as his driver's license and we both got through, me with a lot more hassle.

nope you don't need passports for land crossing yet.
Adults just need drivers license and birth certificate.
