Help with budget to SA

Im going to Brazil, Argi, uruguay, and Peru from oct 30-jan 15 both filghts are into and out of sao paulo.

Im wondering if 50$ a day will be enough money, plus the odd night clubing and sightseeing. and bus fare tagged on to.

I got back from 2 months of backing around central america like 3 weeks ago or so, I'm not sure how on par costs of food/hostels/transport is with CA but I usually spent $30-40 a day while down there. Hostels ran anywhere from $5-12 then add on say around $3-5 per meal if that, some hostels would have free breakfasts. For buses it depends on how far you are going but still they are very cheap, only a few dollars for long bus rides. Tours and hikes with a guide will be the pricey things to do, but it depends on what you want to do. I might try posting on the lonelyplanet forums for more info regarding average costs, good chance you'll get a few responses from people who have been to SA recently.
