I'm just curious to know what time everyone starts their work day at.

I had a discussion with a friend of mine and he's up at 5am to get to work by 8am and back home by about 6pm.

I'm out the door by 720ish and home by 530ish.

Off at 4:00 and home by 4:20 to 4:25 depending on traffic.

From out of bed, to leaving the door, it's 15 minutes. In those 15 minutes I do the 3S's... shit shave and shower. Really, if you're a guy, it shouldn't take more than that... mind you I don't have to dress in a suit or anything.

I wake up 10 to 20 minutes before leaving the house.

-no showers
-do not smell funky
-hair is about .5" long so it's low maintenance

Basically throw on work clothes (prepare the night before), brush teeth, have something to drink then leave. I eat breakfast at work.

a typical day in the life of me:

Wake up at 4:40, look at my phone to see what time it is, get excited cause I still have about two hours to sleep

Wake up sometime between 6:15 and 6:20, groan that I only have about 20 minutes left to sleep, reset my alarm for 7 instead of 6:45 just to get that extra 15 minutes in there.

get up at 7, start the shower, crawl back in bed for a minute while the bathroom gets all steamy.

brush my teeth and hop in the shower, get back in bed for 10 minutes, get dressed, out the door around 7:30.

at work for 8:15.
coffee break from 10-10:30
lunch break from 12 to 1
coffee break from 3-3:30
leave work around 4:15 (earlier on fridays)
home by 5.

meet up with friends or begin whatever else i'm doing that night by around 6:30

throw a movie in the dvd player around 10:30 and pass out on the couch within half an hour

wake up at 1ish and move to bed, then do it all over again the next day.

On rotation basis:

Up at 530, start work at 6.
Mondays start at 530.
Work for crazy for two hours, then relax ( :zzz: ) till 12. Finish a couple things and wait for next shift person to get in.
Get off at 2. Enjoy the sun :)

At least that's not every week. Other weeks it's 10-6 or 3-11. :(

6:30am-6:30pm extract oil for you bums

6:30pm-7:15 drive home.

7:20pm Cooking supper.

Rotate to nights every second shift set.

Well it's not purist shift work. There is a night shift but I wouldn't ever work it haha. It sucks enough having to get there for 6 in the morning
