my morning
walk in, try to shake off sleep, go check arian's desk to get timmy ho's (sob wasn't there) then I go get a monster + bagel of which I enjoy while catching up on beyond activity. I ask kevin for work "go ask graeme" ask graeme "ummm have you talked to kevin yet?" yes.. just did "oh... well... shit... ummm i'll come to your office in an hour or so" at which I come back and enjoy iphone youtube ftw... =) haha

well it looks like you didnt get one of the hallway doors according to the floorplan. i used to have papers everywhere but one day took the effort and sorted them all just laying them on my bookshelf. i just make my double espressos all morning in the kitchen and work on my databases of random things that i have made.

ya you aren't on the engg side of things. engg summer students = boring, doc control/buying etc = work. but ya I just realized our door positions are different, I got lucky with that. I'm not sure who your boss is, but I see you work right next to Cathy, she is awesome.

yup, she is very nice. my boss is mike as i am estimating. the most engg i had to cover was going through a million p&ids to look up equipment for my list only to find that none of it is in pcs for me to find data on:banghead:

On a side note, wtf is wrong with the internet in this place. It fails hard like 50 fucking times a day. I'm going to go ahead and assume it is Telus. I was trying to download some shows from bcopping's website earlier and I was getting 70 kb/s :rofl:

ummm headphone jack doesn't work? so you can't use speakers either? I just have a set of logitech ones on my desk that I plug in, but if not eat iphone to keep busy. Ya i've had those scares about them trolling my internet usage... i hope not hahaha.
I'm curious if there are some IT IMV guys on beyond or not... has to be someone.

But errr arian can you even torrent on these computers? my internet is slow all the time too, its annoying when I can't scroll through beyond pages :P. I need to find something to do until I can fill my bell with lunch

well i assume the back jack works but dont feel like moving my computer around because the ipod headphone cable is so little. the only it guy i knew of was miro but he has gone now. he thought it i was an actual engineer for quite awhile. :rofl:

well if the back works just get a set of speakers... there are tons lying around, logitech/labtec and some other brand, and then put them up on your desk so you can plug your ghetto ipod headphones in them. mine are longer so I can use the ones at the base but either way I use the speakers cause its more convenient :P yup fbook + youtube without draining my battery soon haha. and then i'm sure it'll be quiznos and a 10 minute nap too.

if you can't find speakers then just e-mail ross benov I believe, I see speakers all over at empty desks, thats where I took mine on like the 2nd day this summer. I can't remember which floor actually has them, but if you e-mail ross all will be solved. Yah i'm getting so hungry too, i'm trying to stay off slurpees and cut some of the fat thats accumulating at desk jobs. =P we still all need to get some lunch soon here too haha
