How's Secret Streets these days?

Hey guys,

I want to take my modified '07 GTI down to the track tomorrow night and see how she does, but I haven't ran my car there in two years.

Is it still rediculous line ups to run with all sorts of kids in their dads nice cars? Or has it toned down a bit?

uhmm, why would that even matter?

You're there to race your car against the clock correct? Lines can be big, but shit after 10pm you can get 3 runs in before 11.

Hey man, thanks for the info. I didn't mean to sound so harsh, I guess I was just sick of kids coming up to me in my then 300zx tt and saying they'd stomp me in their mums bimmer, just to find out it was a 325i or someshit... :)


But thats what I wanted to know, if I can get multiple runs in in one hour.

I got one of the builds with the euro domstic market packages added to canadian-destined units by accident, so i have auto leveling HIDS (99% of GTIs dotn auto level), blue tinted glass, headlamp washers, special converse mirrors, etc...

ya the lines are stupid long. I don't even go there anymore, I'd rather drive 2 hours to go elsewhere.

whiskas: I haven't checked out the autocross - Is this the same one that was happening concurently with secret street on friday nights?

If so, how is the course setup? is it pretty tight or are there some areas were you can get some speed up?


I wish they'd open up the oval, see how fast we can go with a radar gun on the edge.

I wonder how many cars would hit the all :eek:

hm...autocross...I could give that a whirl again. I still have a rear tire rubbing issue those.

Yep same one on friday nights, while you boys are waiting in line for the strip we're dodging cones on the oval.

The course is setup to be newbie friendly and is pretty open.
