Hello all,

not sure where this would belong under specifically so I'm just posting this in General.

I need to get a block heater installed on the G35 (imported from states). What would be the best place to get it done? Fishcreek Nissan wants $340 for one installed.

Thanks!

It's pretty simple generally, buy the heater do a quick search online and you can probably do it yourself in a few minutes. You just take out a frost plug, jam in the heater and fasten it down, from the ones I've ever seen.

Then try NAPA, or Auto Value
Sometimes you can get the identical part from a nissan dealer
and save some cash, should be the same as a 350z

Well personally i'd go to the dealership to get the block heater, and you never know it could be an absolute bitch to install one of those, so $340 might be not that bad of a price. And if your not very mechanically inclined, or you tool collection totals less that a grand you probably should take it to the dealer either way.
