has anyone had a problem driving two vehicles one is LHD and the other RHD? Doesnt it get confusing when you're using a LHD for work and then RHD for weekend or nightout driving? Just wondering what its like before I purchase a RHD car then having a LHD company vehicle.

Nope, I'm automotively ambidextrous. LOL

The best part is that you get "trucker tans" on both arms, so you look more symmetrically tanned...

The OP is correct though... you're about to get flamed for this post. Badly.

Hopefully we can keep this thread clean...

I drive both everyday, my get to work car is RHD and my work truck is LHD, the only thing that gets confusing is you'll accidentally flip on the wiper blades when your trying to signal, then we get a good laugh about it. Or if you're in a panic situation and you need to shift suddenly, you may smack your hand on the door haha.... dumb shit really.

Have fun :)

Well as for flamers, I dont see why will they flame me for asking...for starters Im a courier thats why Im asking....I drive everyday with a LHD van and Im thinking of buying a RHD SUV for my own vehicle so I will be switching almost everytime thats why Im asking if somebody out there has the same hesitation like me. I dont need any technical input as I already know how to drive obviously. I just want to know how it went out for those who have the same experience.

The rear view mirror is on your other side which is pretty confusing until you are use to it.

to answer your question switching cars is very dangerous because you forget which is your left and right .

I drive both, and its pretty easy. Helps that my work truck is auto, and if I try to use my right hand to signal, I just hit the shifter, and it won't move :)

Anyone that says other wise needs to open their eyes.

I drive a right hand drive and left hand drive all the time have no problem for the three years that i had mine .My rhd has been one of the best investments that i made because i get 30 mpg in a SUV not like my left hand drive that got 14mpg in the same kind of truck.

Don't forget you'll need a pair of RHD driving shoes.

yeah...... you kinda missed the boat on this one. Honestly, you didnt even catch it on the first page.

fail. :thumbsdow

It was actually quite refreshing to read all those helpful answers. I've thought about getting a RHD, but the thought of banging the 1-2 shift with anything but my right hand makes my skin crawl

I've been switching on a daily basis for 2 years, you'll be fine. You might mix up the wipers and the turn signal now and again. :nut:
