But when we had these in elementary, they were teeny little balls, this looks different.

But agreed, they were fuckin delciious.
I heard they have them at Co-Op but I've never seen them.

From checking the website, it should be at Sobeys, Safeways and Co-op grocery stores but my guess is those stores dont order them in anymore from no demand

yeah elementary recess lol , we'd all have one and 'chug' wheat crunch, the whole thing at once then savour the seasoning flavours while playing full-contact 'world cup' soccer or bums up

LOL we did this too. Except I'd get too many in my mouth to be able to chew, so I'd spit them out like a pea-shooter at my buddies until I had room

No man... I played Bums Up as well, game fucking rules. Me and a few friends even played it one day in gym class in high school lol.

I fucking loved wheat crunch... I think one time I spilled mine on the ground and I went to the lengths of actually just eating it.

we also played this hacky sack game were you threw a hackey sack across the school yard and tried to hit the fence, and the other team would just try and block it.

I searched wheat crunch on google and this thread came up.

I've been to four grocery stores now and none of them have this. Anyone care to tell me where I could find some.

Thank you.

Anyone manage to find these recently?

According to their website Safeway, Sobeys and Co-op still carry them, but I've searched four of the stores nearby with no luck.

Wheat crunch, pogs, devil sticks and yoyo's, the most memorable fads from my elementary days. We also used to play soccer with squash balls, sounds stupid but it was so much fun.

So I checked the Sinnamon Farm's website and apparently they are no longer producing wheat crunch.

At this point I think it's safe to say they are gone for good.

I went on a hunt for them like 3 years ago (see earlier in the thread) and they were already closed down. No hint that they are coming back. It's a shame, because they had a tasty product. I wonder why the business failed?

Did some more digging cause I happened to see this thread while I was hungry. I managed to track down the owner of Sinnamon Farms and send him a message on Facebook. I'm kicking myself for not doing this years ago when there was a chance I might be able to snag some left over product.

I will post his response back here if he gets back to me. It doesn't look like he facebooks that much though.

Haha... my bad, my girlfriend made them and brought them to work for us snack on.

She bought a bag of wheat berries from planet organic for for $2. Then boiled to for 45~ minutes (until soft), drain the wheat and allow to dry and the broil it in the oven until its crunchy (20 minutes or so). then add flavouring to your liking and enjoy!

Hope that helps!

Yes, he did get back to me but no luck tracking any down. He did say they were trying to revive the company but that was a year and a half ago, so I guess it's not going to happen.
