iPhone 3G: How to get MP3 as ring tone.

Can someone help me out here? I downloaded a song (it was free off of the net) and want to set it as my ring tone. How do I do this?

you can upload your own and clip it, or download a ton fo free tones to sync to your iphone

Audiko.net was a great site, but didn't quite have what I wanted so I downloaded iRinger. Great app!

sorry not to be dick, but the iphone that people camped out side and paid a few hundred dollars plus got financing for 3 years (they did do a credit check) and you can not just select a mp3 as a ring tone? what is this 1998? I can do this with my 50 dollar e815. motorola.

yah the Iphone is an overhyped POS IMO.

I like it. It's not everything it was hyped up to be, but given that I'm an internet marketer and its internet capabilities are pretty fantastic, it's exactly what I need in a phone.

But yea, 40-second ringtones suck my nuts :(
