I do quite like the 300C SRT8, biased cause it's built on the old Mercedes E-class chassis though..plus they can look rather pimp if murdered out sans chrome.

what about a G8 GT?

Or the GXP when it comes out

If not, I'd go with the 300C SRT-8 too

If you want to buy a tank (as 4 of your 5 options are)

2003/4 RS6's, with low(ish) km, can be had for the same price range as your choices brand new.

But out of those, the 300C done up nicely is almost pimpin.

i voted for the 300

i had a couple of these bad boys as rental cars last year and i was impressed.

the v6 HO one was quicker than i thought it would be and the hemi one i had (not an srt) was kick ass. I took the hemi 300 from edmonton to whitefish montana and back with 4 guys and a thule on the roof loaded up with our snowboard gear, the headlights were amazing, and we were very comfortable for the whole trip.

Cant really compare the srt8 to all the other cars on the list performance wise.

God...

I do not like the chasis used for the charger/300c, regardless of SRT/Hemi or 3.5

I've driven the HEMI for a week in LA, I've drove the 3.5 magnum for my friend to Edmonton

I've driven the SRT8 that belonged to my Real-Estate buddy

The engine used in the SRT8 is magnificant, and the HEMI is actuality a reasonably refined V8 considering.

The handling is muted, as are the brakes. Very disconnected driving experience. I too found the short windows annoying as is the blind spot and the rear headroom surprisingly is worse than it appears.
However, on a long haul, the soft ship like suspension of the 300C/Charger/Magnum is quite comfortable
They stiffen them up for the R/T and SRT significantly
but by no means do they compare even with the 5 series chasis of even the last two generations from BMW

However, never would I put one in my garage
The Vauxhall/Pontiac G8 on the other hand, I've heard is "supurb"
But again, I have yet to drive it

I have no regrets buying my Charger. Its fast and comfy. The brakes are outstanding.

I've had it out on the roadcourse at RaceCity, lots of fun and surprisingly good laptimes as well (I run Solo I with CSCC).
I had the car down to Lethbridge last week, it was great on the highway.

If you don't mind bad fuel milage, buy the STR-8, it doesn't come with MDS to save fuel. The SRT-8's also don't come with the same warranty as Non SRT's.

i've never driven any of these cars so i guess i'm basing it mostly on looks. My vote went to the charger, i dont see them as often as 300s as well but the 300c would be a close 2nd.

i drove a 300 when my car was in the shop, mind you it wasn't a 300C SRT-8 but I didn't like it that much.. too much car, too heavy, throttle was delayed by up to 1.5 seconds

wasn't all that great to be honest

i dislike the 300 SRT-8
actually wasn't too impressive and didn't handle too good.
i wouldn't buy any of the above to be honest.

You could also consider the Cadillac CTS-V, which is similar to the other's you listed.

300 SRT8 is definitely my choice in that list.

But I would also consider the G8 at it is in the same class as most of those cars listed and although I haven't been in one I think it is even better from what I have seen so far.

:werd: I like the 300, but they are to damn big I drove one for 2 weeks not the HEMI version, I was surprised it wasn't that slow, but the big blind spot they suffer from right behind the driver and fuel economy is bad:thumbsdow , I will go for G8 GT instead since it has cylinder management:thumbsup:

None of the above, as someone else stated - G8 GT or G8 GXP
