Hey all. I have a brand new in the box iPhone from Rogers that is not on contract or been activated yet. I got it through a friend of mind that had an offer from Rogers to get them on no contract.

What im wondering though, is for me to use it, is there any complications? Do I just go get a plan and im set? Or would he have to activate it with his info first?

Thanks for any info.

I'm confused. Couldn't a Rogers Wireless CSR help you with this question?

Or would you rather have people speculate an answer on a car forum?

Just put any Rogers sim card in it and it should work. If you already have a Rogers plan, insert that sim card in it.

Yes, it should work if you already have a plan on an existing SIM, just pop it in and go.

Although, you will need to call CSR to activate anything iPhone specific (eg. data plan, visual voicemail)...unless you already have those on your existing SIM account as well.

:)
