On a side note for anyone looking at homesecurity i picked up this neat camera system at futureshop.

Its called WiLife by Logitech. It plugs into a power outlet and transfers the signal through the power grid. You plug your computer into the wall via usb adapter and walla!

It has nice video with nightvision and is very very easy to set up. Tax in i think it came to around $360 for the startup kit.

You can get outdoor camera, indoor cameras and disguised camerea (look like alarm clocks and speakers)
