I got off my ass and took the teg apart. (it only took two years) :dunno:

The end result: Broken ring lands in one and two and blown head gasket. :banghead:

Oh well, who wants to do a group buy on JE, Crower, darton, and ferrea! :D

I will get some pics up in the am!

holy, i was wondering what was going on with the "13sec street tire" killer. now that it's diagnosed how long is it gonna take you to get it out again.... 2 more years? hahaha j/k.

I am ordering rods, pistons, and sleeves today, so hopefully they dont take two years to get here!

over boosted, I had enough fuel for about 11psi and one pass down the track it boosted to 15.5psi went lean :banghead:

Yeah half way down the track i was thinking the car feels great tonite, it was pushing me back in the seat in third gear and then powershifted fourth , the power went away, looked down the J&S was solid red, EGTs were sky high, and the a/f gauge was in the red. I lifted and still ran a 14.1@102

The stock block is easily good enough for streetable power. Anything beyond 350 wheel isnt really useable on the street unless you have a drag setup (drag rads, traction bars drag biased suspension ect)

At that point, its not going to be much good for anything but a straight line. You may as well stuff a big block into a 1970 nova :)



Pretty cool that it is available though, how many aftermarket BLOCKS are available for different cars?
