Pick this 79 civic up today!!!! It runs Great and it's all original nothing modified bought it from the original owner when he purchased it in 1978. Everythings stock 1.2lt 5 speed. Can't wait to drive it and it's going in for a paint ASAP. Body has very little rust mostly surface rust.

Yes I've owend alot of these first gen civics in my past. I met my wife driving one of these 12 years ago I though we would relive some old memories and 3 kids later.. My kids have seen some pic's of my old 1st gen civics they wanted me to get one again. so I did Finally and in good shape. The car was purchase in lethbridge in 1976 at Mc'faddens Honda and he is the original owner and that's pretty cool to me. So I know all the history on this car that's why I purchased this old school civic. He's kept it in pretty good shape over the years.

I love those older Civics, but I'd be so afraid of the 70s-Japanese-car rust.

How's the interior?

Just don't do something like this (http://motoringjstyle.blogspot.com/2008/03/woah-franken-rotary-honda-600-alert.html). The car would kill you (http://jalopnik.com/376896/pch-rotary-swap-hell-edition-honda-600-or-toyota-starlet).

Yes he had it on back order for a year before he got it. He has a picture when he first got it home and the original purchase sticker that they put in the window.
