I'm looking at going on a 3 week trip in October, from ~Oct. 9 - 31. I was thinking it would be nice to hit Central America or South America and do some diving or surfing. Any suggestions? I travel backpacker style...I don't really have a budget, but I'm not looking at staying at fancy resorts either.
