View Full Version : 430 Scuderia Novitec 717HP

The primary mechanical addition is a pair of belt-driven superchargers, one for each bank of the Scuderia’s 4.3L V8. Boost is limited to 0.48 bar, or 7psi, due to the innately high-compression nature of the engine. Still, that’s enough to push the stock unit’s 510hp (380kW) up to 717hp (535kW), bringing the car’s top speed up to 215mph (348km/h) from the factory specification of 198 (320km/h). Straight-line acceleration numbers are equally impressive, with 62mph (100km/h) ticking by in 3.5 seconds, 124mph (200km/h) in 10.1 seconds and 186mph (300km/h) in 26.1 seconds.

I wonder if it can beat a 100k car with less HP and a shitty interior around the ring. :dunno:

Isn't that how cars are judged these days? lol

Probably be really close. I hate to say it, but when you get into super expensive cars it seems that the performance gap is shrinking when compared to the ZO6s and GT-Rs of the world.

Hrrmmm....
217hp more, and .1 second quicker to 60mph..

I have to say, as impressive as Novitec is - the Scuderia (and Challenge Stradale) is one car that I would leave absolutely stock.

This Novitec is a nice car all around though :burnout:

No traction till 3rd gear probably. 1/4 mile time would most likely be faster.

Every post you make is about how good the ZR1 is. Everyone one knows that the ZR1 and the GTR for that matter is amazing value, for 100k you get a car that will be faster than something that costs twice as much.

But if you compare how this Ferrari looks compared to the ZR1 and the attention to detail that comes with making a Ferrari, it's not fucking even close. I'd rather be telling my friends I just bought a Novitec than I just bought 2 ZR1's. It's just something with those damn Italian's and their passion to make beautiful cars with amazing performance.

actually 3 zr1's to one Novitec 430 Scuderia... hehe... and maybe 4-5 GTR's. that is one hella sexy car, who cares if the ZR1 or GTR are faster, status like this Novitec is like no other and lets face it, the interior is uber sweet im sure.

I would completely agree.

The Scuderia and Challenge Stradale cars were never meant to be modded and most owners desire the hardcore stripped out, bare bones race car feel. The best things about these cars is not their engine (even though they are obviously equally impressive) but how the car eats up corners.

I doubt very many novitec scuderia's will be made.

 Wow, lose the stripes and it's absolutely fantastic!

Why would anyone in their right mind do this to a perfectly good car. I had a chat with a Ferrari engineer recently and he told me that anything you do to the car from stock will make it slower. It has been tweaked out that much from the factory.

All of these Novitec mods don't seem to do much other than more impressive hp numbers with minimal results.

The car with street tires is already as fast as a Challenge car with slicks and every Ferrari pro driver I've spoken to believes it is faster than the Enzo. Why screw with this?

Some ZR Auto customer will douche up and drop the coin and then there will be some ghey video on you tube about how fast the car is now:dunno:

I've been trying to figure out this car for the last few days! I saw it while I was in line at the petrol station, didn't get enough time to get proper pictures so took one from where I was but it turned out crap.

Loads of Ferrari's around lately, saw an Enzo last week and another today on the motorway. They sound amazing!

never meant to be modded? pffffffffffft :nut:
I would imagine this novitec scud could go into a corner just as hard as a regular scud.. but the new found differences would be obvious coming OUT of the corner where the regular one would be left behind..

Ferrari obviously did a lot of work to balance this car properly. The introduction of forced induction in itself would change the characteristics of the car enough IMO to make it a totally different machine than the original Scuderia

No, it is a Scud. You can tell by the exhaust pipes and wheels. The normal 430 pipes come out the lower corners of the bumper not the upper middle.

I cant even see the exhaust pipes, but your right the wheels like like Scuderia wheels.

They are just to the right and left of the license plate.
