I bought the car last august for $10,000 off a really good guy here on Beyond. got the car back home, drove it for a month and then put it away for the winter. Got it out this may and have been doing some minor stuff to it sense. Here are the mods.
Toyota mr2 GT Turbo T-top
Standard features:
power locks
power windows
power mirrors
power folding mirrors (dont ask me why)
power steering
half leather/half velvet seats (could use a leather repair on the drivers side)
abs
Climate control (ac could probably use a recharge)
t-tops which is way too much fun in the summer
Exterior:
17" APC rims on z-rated rubber (sorry the brand escapes me right now)
94+ taillight conversion,
hid 8000k headlights (installed at speedtech this summer)
fog lights converted to north american h3 bulbs (rather then the expensive h3c bulbs)
Interior:
Dash conversion to white flower blub leds (from the grose yellowish lights)
Authentic Momo Millennium Steering wheel on a Momo hub.
Authentic Sparco peddles drilled to the plates by Speedtech this summer.
Sound:
Stock Toyota 'Alive' sound system. 2 tweeters (upgraded 94+ covers), 2 door speakers, and two behind the seats.
Alpine deck with mp3 and ipod support (dont own an ipod so i never bought the cable for it)
2 12" Alpine Type S subs (one behind each seat) in custom built boxes running to a matching 600watt rms Alpine amp and Stinger 1 frad cap.
S2000 antana conversion
All sub stuff installed by visions in crowfoot this past summer.
Engine/Preformance
Slotted and drilled rotors with lots of meat left on the pads
B&M replica short shifter with lift plate. using a trd leather shift knob.
Greddy Power Extreme Exhaust (possibly a replica) Dual canister.
Apexi cold air intake,
94+ plugs and wires
HKS SSQV blow off valve (the one with the purple ring)
HKS Turbo timer
Toyota Racing Development syncroed tranny. Got it from Redlyne_mr2 about a month and a half ago.
Toyota Racing Development Street Clutch
All of that is connected to a 2nd gen mr2 engine with a ct25 turbo (stock, original engine) that is about to hit 175kms. The engine was compression tested last month and came back perfect. No smoke, its just totally fine. Runs a tad bit rich thanks to the bov, but that is normal and is not harmful.
Obviously the car is not brand new, it has its quirks and I will be sure to point them all out to you (nothing major at all, and nothing in reguards to the engine).
I am looking to downgrade for school at sait and use my accord as an every day car, use some of the money from the mr2 to pay off bills. $10,000 FIRM.
