Is it possible to have 2 small turbos in series, so you can get more power with less lag? Im sitting on this idea for my 95 integra. Good idea or No?

Diesel trucks use what they call compound turbo setups with two turbos in series. Only difference being they generally use a small turbo and a really big turbo. The smaller provides the low end boost while the larger turbo is spooling once the big turbo is lit then its pretty much taken over and provides the larger amounts of boost.

or you could put them in parallel, you'll get less power and more lag

definetly single turbo for a small engine like that.. i have seen twin turbo set ups but i wouldnt recommend it. im pretty sure a lighter ceramic turbo or get the turbine wheel reduced in size but thats a bit more complicated..

there is a reason why there are hybrid turbo's IE t3/t4's they give you a small exhaust with a large compressor side.

the rx7 has a setup much like what you are considering but there is a reason why thats the only car that has ever had it. because to size both those turbos would take alot of playing around... no offense but you wouldnt ask the question if you were good at math,

and space in the engine bay would be an issue as well

not really. half rad and log style manifolds would make it compact. its doable its just retarded. he would spend more money for less power.
