Just wondering besides Vistek does anyone know where I could purchase a Lacie external hard drive in Calgary?

Anyone else have suggestions on a reliable external hard drive if I cannot find a decent priced Lacie one?

Looking for a minimum of 120GB.

memx, bcom, computer rack can all special order them in for you. I'm also fairly sure that any Mac Store will have access to them too!

uh.... NCIX has a 320 2.5" lacie for 89.99 lol

and i dont' know of any externals being more reliable then others.... the most reliable builds would probably be a seagate+ your choice of the external case

NCIX.com and Tigerdirect.ca are normally your best bet for stuff like this. I got a 1 TB 7200 RPM external drive with a really nice case for $199.

Anyone know what models are the lower end for Lacie? I see the D2 Quadra is popular but if anyone knows which model lines are the lower end ones that would be great.

Yeah they are excellent, everything I've gotten from them has been fast and cheap shipping. I believe their warehouse is in Vancouver. Just select the cheapest shipping option and it takes like 2-3 days. Same for NCIX.com.
