Saw that one ^ parked in my neighbourhood last night. Went over and talked to the owner. He just picked it up that day ~ 100kms on it. Car looks huge in real life. Should have asked him for a ride...

Yes, they are still "limited" each Nissan dealer just got 5 of them, so porbaby only 20 of them in city now, still a very limited qty, way less then other exotic cars, such as Ferrari 360/430.

I have seen two of them a white one and a red one... Like Heavy D said they don't seem too limited.

20 in calgary and its not even 2009...If these dealers get another 20 in February that would make 40 just in calgary. I still believe that by 2012 every dealer will be stocked with these cars.

Nissan pulled the same shit with the 350z, now you can get then for under 20,000.

But none the less Great performing car but I would rather have a 911 turbo. Even if the GTR will out perform me I will look better crossing the finish line.

no he was driving 90 because hes in his 60 years old lol. me and a buddy spoke with him and his wife at lunch time today. very nnice people.

anyhow i said, "you are a lucky man" he replied, "i walked into nissan and they said i can buy it, i wasnt going to argue with that!"

i saw a truck the other week exactly like the one posted above with 2 silver and a red on top and one on the bottom. Seems like they have quite a few. Reminds me of the audi r8, rare but still seen around calgary.

That's generally the problem with the nicest cars... too pricey for the younger crowd, so older folk buy it and usually drive them to 1/10th their potential.

one of the grey ones belongs to a guy that lives down the street from my moms place in heritage pointe, guy even has a lift in his garage that usually has a red 300zx on it. I think he just leaves it out on the driveway to taunt all the porsches and exotics that live around there :P

Somehow .. every nissan dealer I have talked to .. they said they are getting "extra" GTR ..

As they all get 5 GTR for original shipment .. but more and more coming ..

I believe the main reason is, they dont sell well in other markets, as I know lots of GTR in stock in HK .. even they are going for 1/4 price of a GT 2 .. and people dont buy it now after the car been out for only a yr .. :dunno:

that guy is in his thirties, he bought it from brasso. apparently his 300zx is about 500hp

Went to Brasso .. damn .. all curb damage on that GTR already .. :( since for those gun metal color wheel .. u can spot the scratches from miles .. I wonder how many kms on it ..

I know 2 owners that already have one. Both of them said they paid 85-90K before warranty. One of them was on a waiting list for a year, the other 2 years. Sweet car but they will be everywhere soon.
