Looking for opinions on how well they work, whether they actually help save fuel, if they are worth the dough and if so, how often it should be used.

You should be able to find reviews and info online on a shitload of these products. Most are BS but some work.

Some require you to put it in every tank of gas. Some once a month.

I like this method stated:

One way is to take the vehicle out on the highway and accelerate hard several times. The increased fuel flow tends to wash away the deposits.

So going to the drag strip is not only fun, but cleans your injectors.

An actual fuel flush is much more effective.

Lots of shops offer it, it involves using pure cleaner straight to the injectors, rather then diluting it.

The apparatus is generally only available to shops, and is best to let them do it.

The same device is used to spray intake cleaner into the throttle body over a 15 minute period of time.

Just something to consider, its called a "BG Fuel Flush"

BG 44K, add it to a tank of gas, and get the engine nice and warm, do some good pulls etc, end of story.

Bleach.... add 4 liters of bleach to your tank...

it cleans the injectors and removes the galvanizing on the fuel tank (making the car much faster and lighter!)
