Anyone know where i can get a jack for lowered cars? I tried the jacks at Canadian Tire, they wouldn't fit under the front tow hook of my car.

We just lift the car up by hand by 1/2 inch to get the jack underneath. Doesn't work very well with only one person though...

You could always buy a racing jack

Just when you thought you had seen it all! Using state-of-the-art carbon fiber on the side plates, lift arms and handle, we have trimmed the weight down to just 29lbs. Just pump the 48" handle three times to reach maximum height of 17".

Only $1395 usd

EDIT: No idea why the image will not show up.

Actually i was looking for a jack that would cost a little less, probably a couple thousand less than a carbon fiber jack :nut:

Buy a nice 2 ton jack ($100)
Buy some blocks of wood.

Drive car on wood and then use jack.

The aforementioned race jack, or one simlar at any rate. Its a very low front profile so it will fit under them. Some cars actually use hydraulic cylinders attached to the cars frame, they just hit a button in the car and the car is off the ground ready for work. Those systems are either heavy, or very expensive, sometimes both though.

I was gonna mention ramps, but even then, some front body kits and lips probably won't clear the ramp

I have an SiR lip on my Sedan at stock height and ramps just barely cut it.

I remember Johnny (?) with a silver Civic at CIN I think he was part of the Impressions Crew do that. Only thing that sucked was that he needed 3 people with that technique
