NEED HELP! car audio locked.. tried too many wrong codes

hello,
so my mother in law car battery died and she got a boost and then tried playing around with the code (yes i know not smart) and after 10 tries it locked her out..

the car is a 1998 acura 1.6EL..
does she have to go to a dealership? or should we just get her a new deck cause it will end up costing that much.

any help would be appreciated

if you disconnect the battery + and - cable and hold them together for about 15 seconds it will reset to the audio unit. if you dont have the code anymore then you need the serial number off the audio unit. if you message me on tuesday with the serial number i can get the right code that you need to enter! (i work for acura) or if you realy want i will get the serial number off it for you , for a price of course.

no we have the code still she just tried numbers made up or soemthing and didn't call me first
