So I recently got a new macbook and am new to the mac world. I have many videos that play on windows media player on my pc. I would like to move those videos onto the macbook. I downloaded the software:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/windowsmediaplayerformacosx.html
but when I try to run it on the macbook I get this message that it is unable to do this because my macbook does not have something 'classic' (don't recall exactly because I deleted the download when it did run).
My question is am I doing something wrong or missing something here? Should I go with something like VLC instead?
http://www.videolan.org/
All I want is to be able to move my videos from my pc to my macbook and be able to play them on my macbook, which I can not currently do.
Any suggestions?
